Meghan Robins

Meghan Robins (she/her) grew up in Tahoe City, California. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Sierra Nevada University, with an emphasis in Fiction. Meghan is a creative writer, avid reader, drinker of tea, grammar lover, and a freelance editorial consultant and content creator. She is currently living in Bend, Oregon, working as a freelance writer, editor, and content creator.

Meghan was first introduced to writing as an artform when she began exchanging letters with her Grandpa (pre-internet), which devolved into writing elaborate stories about why her letters were late: I was on my way to the post office, Grandpa, when you'd never believe what happened. A bald eagle swooped down and snatch your letter right out of my hands and … (elaborate chase scene ensues).

Meghan’s hermit crab essay, “Being a Woman is Like Making French Onion Soup” recently won 1st place in WOW! Creative Nonfiction Essay Contest, and she is currently working on her first novel.
